Jet Concrete donates work to town in order to showcase creative work
We donated this work to the town of New Ipswich at their ballfield.
The stamp was custom made from Oakridge sign and graphics, for JET concrete, the job was all poured at one time. The colors consist of L. M. Scofield Company's LITHOCHROME® Color Hardener: the bats were Walnut, the home plate and baseballs were Beige Cream, the background was Steadman Buff and the area outside of the cobblestone circle was Pecan Tan. The cobblestone circle was natural grey concrete with LITHOCHROME® Antiquing Release in Deep Charcoal.
The center logo was made out of pvc plastic, and was designed on a computer. We encountered no problems on this job, as we had done a lot of preplanning with our color selection and how we were going to apply the different colors on the same pour. The dimension of the center is 5’ wide, the cobblestone stamp is a 9’ circle. The sealer that we used was a super diamond clear.
