Now on to the questions!

Question:
I'm going to be pouring an overlay onto a floor that has quite a few conduits sticking up. What's the best way to prepare those areas?

The Pro says:
What I like to do is pull out a roll of duct tape (which should always be in a contractor's toolbox). Seal the conduit with the duct tape and then use a utility knife to cut off the excess tape. That should protect the conduit from any overlay getting down into it.

Question:
How do I get rid of all the fuzzy fibers in my sealer after I roll it on? Do I need to buy an expensive roller head?

The Pro says:
The best choice is to use Scofield's Sealer Applicator. But if you must use a store-bought roller head, you can wrap tape around the roller head and then remove the tape. That will usually remove most of the excess lint from the roller head. You may need to repeat this process a couple of times to get all the excess material off.
